Illiquid investing toward multi-asset private markets strategies is growing in popularity with investors seeking partners who will be able to allocate across a range of sectors such as infrastructure, private equity, real estate and private credit, according to a new report from bfinance titled Seven Shades of Multi Asset.
According to bfinance, this illustrates a broader shift towards focusing on outcomes in terms of risk, return and liquidity, rather than categories.
Multi-asset strategies range from “plain vanilla” strategies, which allocate to high-quality equities and bonds, to complex products with exposure to a broad range of asset classes and instruments including derivatives.
