Renewable Power Capital signs its largest deal to date

Renewable Power Capital (RPC) has more than doubled its onshore wind portfolio with an €800 million ($856 million) renewable transaction.

The deal concerns a 528-megawatt cluster of ready-to-build onshore wind projects located in Sweden’s Kramfors and Sollefteå municipalities. RPC has acquired the projects and committed the capital required for construction on four sites, which are expected to generate power ready for export to the grid in fourth quarter 2025.

This transaction, the third of 2022, pushes the company’s portfolio from 317 megawatts to a total of 845 megawatts across Sweden and Finland, adding to a nearly 4-gigawatt solar PV pipeline in Spain.
