Matina Papathanasiou, a founding partner of QIC Global Infrastructure, has taken up a board member position on the United Nations Risk Reduction Investment Advisory Board for the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) in recent months.
Papathanasiou, a well-respected industry figure with more than 30 years of experience in investing and managing infrastructure assets globally and in institutional funds management, previously oversaw the investment and asset management decisions in QIC’s Global Infrastructure business, according to her LinkedIn.
She has been a director on a number of boards of infrastructure companies throughout the past 20 years, including a current board member at Port of Melbourne, Hobart International Airport and PowAR/Tilt.
