Peppertree Capital Fund IX, a fund managed by Peppertree Capital Management, has picked up two U.S. pension fund investors.
In October, the University of Michigan Regents greenlit a $75 million commitment to the fund, and Arlington County (Va.) Employees' Retirement System approved a $15 million commitment.
Peppertree Capital Management is focused on investing in growing communication infrastructure companies, both in the United States and internationally. The firm invests in companies that own the towers, the wireless spectrum and the fiber networks that power mobile networks.
As of Nov. 18, Peppertree Capital Fund IX had secured $22.6 million in capital commitments from seven investors, according to a filing with the SEC.
