NorthStar Midstream, a midstream services company owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, has named Jon “Jack” Hamel as senior vice president of technical services. Hamel will report directly to the Mac Hummel, CEO of NorthStar.
Hamel most recently served as president of Arlington Consulting, where he provided engineering and project management services to clients within the energy industry. Over the course of his more than 30-year professional career, he has also held leadership roles at SNC Lavalin, Willbros and Williams Cos., where he served as vice president and general manager – Ohio Valley Midstream.
Hamel earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and a master of business administration from the University of Wyoming.
