The Kansas City Area Development Council and its partners have announced Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has selected the Kansas City, Mo., region for its new hyperscale data center.
Locating in the Golden Plains Technology Park, a 5.5 million-square-foot data center campus in Kansas City, Meta will invest more than $800 million during the next several years to build out its nearly 1 million-square-foot facility.
