Global law firm Linklaters has promoted Patryk Figiel to partner in its energy and infrastructure practice in Warsaw.
Figiel, a lawyer with more than 18 years’ experience of advising on complex energy and infrastructure transactions in Poland and in the CEE region, joined the firm in 2005. He was promoted to managing associate in 2010 and counsel in 2017.
The promotion was among 35 new partner elections Linklaters announced worldwide. The new partners were drawn from 15 jurisdictions and 11 practice areas.
The firm said that over the past six years, Figiel has built a successful energy and infrastructure practice in Warsaw, specializing in energy transition and infrastructure-related concession work.
Clients seek his advice on transactions requiring business acumen and a deep understanding of the particularities involved in the construction and development of windfarms and large infrastructure projects.
