Lincoln Rackhouse sells T-Mobile data center in Florida

by Kali Persall

Lincoln Rackhouse, the data center division of Lincoln Property Co., has sold T-Mobile’s Everglades MSO data center in the Miami area to USPP Sunrise DC, part of a REIT managed by Principal Real Estate Investors, according to Data Center Dynamics.

 The transaction fetched $26 million.

The 35,000-square-foot build-to-suit data center sits on a 4.34-acre site in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It was developed by Lincoln in 2018 as part of a sale-leaseback agreement with T-Mobile. This is reportedly the first time the property has been sold since it was developed into a data center.

Lincoln Rackhouse is the data center division of Lincoln Property Co. that helps organizations locate, analyze and secure data center space to lease or own. USPP Sunrise DC acquired the facility from LPCH Florida Equities, part of the Lincoln Rackhouse data center division.
