The Arkansas Teacher Retirement System has approved a $50 million commitment to ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, a closed-end infrastructure fund managed by I Squared Capital Advisors, according to recently released board meeting minutes.
The fund opened to investors in August 2020 with a fundraising goal of $12 billion.
ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III will invest in mid-market platforms and large opportunistic transactions in the target infrastructure sectors across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The fund will specialize in utilities, transportation and power investments.
As of November 2020, Fund III had raised some $4.3 billion in capital, according to a document posted by another investor, the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust F
