Infrastructure Victoria CEO to resign in November

Michel Masson has tendered his resignation as CEO of Infrastructure Victoria, the Australian state’s independent advisory body on infrastructure development.

Masson has held the leadership position since 2016, during which time he developed the organization into a key independent voice on a wide range of infrastructure issues such as zero-emissions vehicles, recycling infrastructure, port capacity, gas infrastructure and infrastructure for the Suburban Rail Loop.

In August, Infrastructure Victoria completed the 2021–2051 Infrastructure Strategy, the second of two 30-year strategies completed under Masson‘s stewardship.

“I would like to thank Michel for his productive and strategic leadership of Infrastructure Victoria since 2016,” said treasurer Tim Pallas. “Michel has done a fantastic job guiding Infrastructure Victoria in its crucial first years, helping to inform our state’s record infrastructure program.”
