Infranity, an active investor in the financing of the digital transition, has provided an exclusive €125 million ($134 million) Holdco financing to the Altitude Group that will allow it to reinforce its ownership stake in Rosace Fibre, one of the first large fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) public initiative networks in France.
Rosace Fibre will grant more than 400,0000 households and businesses in rural areas of the Alsace region access to ultra-fast broadband.
On Dec. 28, 2022, the Altitude Group acquired the remaining shares in Rosace Fibre and Losange Fibre, two fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) public-initiative networks in the Grand Est region of France, from Quaero Capital. Before that, Altitude, which has been acting as an industrial partner and a minority shareholder in these companies since their inception, acquired shares held by the Marguerite investment fund in 2021.
The Rosace Fibre and Losange Fibre networks provide fiber to more than 1.4 million homes and busin
