SB Energy Global has agreed to sell 75 percent of the renewable energy produced by four of its solar projects under development to Google.
Totaling 1.2 gigawatts of capacity, the projects will support Google's investment in Texas, as well as its clean-energy goals.
The power-purchase agreement — Google's largest combined clean-energy transaction in Texas to date — supports Google's commitment to operate every hour of every day on carbon-free energy by 2030.
