OVHcloud, a European cloud provider, is planning strategic investments in India’s infrastructure to support the country’s rapidly growing digital economy, according to Express Computer.
The company is seeking to reduce latency between India and Europe, where OVHcloud has 20 data centers, and also between India and Singapore, where OVHcloud has operated a data center since 2017.
“The decision to expand our presence in India was a logical step in our business growth strategy,” said Lionel Legros, general manager of Asia Pacific at OVHcloud.
OVHcloud is focusing on the deployment of its infrastructure via a first Point of Presence (PoP), which will complete a network of 48 already deployed PoPs.
