Equilibrium Capital sells RNG facility in Oregon

by Kali Persall

Equilibrium Capital has sold a renewable natural gas (RNG) facility in Oregon to Resilient Infrastructure Group, a water infrastructure platform owned by Partners Group.

Equilibrium said the RNG facility is among the largest dairy manure to RNG facilities in the United States, capable of transforming the methane-emitting manure from dairy cows into a lower-carbon-intensity RNG fuel.

The facility reduces greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural waste and wastewater and displaces fossil fuel used in transportation through the production of RNG.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
