Ellomay Capital, an Israeli-based developer of renewable energy and power projects in Europe and Israel, has connected the Talasol solar photovoltaic plant to the Spanish electricity grid.
The 300-megawatt solar photovoltaic plant was constructed by Talasol Solar in the municipality of Talavan, Caceres, Spain. Electricity production has officially commenced.
To date, Ellomay has invested significant funds in the renewable, clean energy and natural resources industries in Israel, Italy and Spain. This includes 7.9 megawatts of photovoltaic power in Spain and 9 megawatts of photovoltaic power in Israel.
