DigitalBridge has captured a $60 million commitment from the Employees’ Retirement System (ERS) of Texas for DigitalBridge Partners (DBP) III.
DBP III is seeking to raise $8 billion and will invest opportunistically in digital infrastructure, in sectors including communications, data centers and IT.
The ERS of Texas had committed $125 million to DBP III’s predecessor, DBP II, in 2020.
As of June 30, the ERS of Texas had 6.2 percent of its $35.6 billion portfolio allocated toward infrastructure investments, slightly above its 5 percent target.
