Digital Edge unveils first self-build data center in Osaka, Japan

Stonepeak-backed Digital Edge (Singapore) Holdings is delivering its first self-build data center in Osaka, Japan, known as OSA1. The project represents a $110 million commitment.

The facility is strategically located in the Osaka CBD, close to other network-dense locations. Digital Edge said Osaka houses one of the highest concentrations of businesses in Japan and is poised to boost its innovation and startup scene, driving demand for colocation and new data centers in the city.
