David Emes, a senior investment professional with more than 25 years of financial, investment, strategic and fundraising experience, has become head of infrastructure capital raising at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM).
He was previously director, head of alternatives at Eastspring Investments, the asset manager for Prudential, in Singapore. There he was responsible for strategy, investments and business development and led an alternatives team, overseeing private market mandates with S$3 billion ($2.2 billion) of funds under management, according to Emes’ LinkedIn page. He also was chair of the alternatives investment committee.
Prior to Eastspring, Emes was at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, where he first served as principal – global infrastructure and natural resources and then became head of funds – global infrastructure and natural resources.
