Cube Infrastructure Managers sells Cube Hydro Power to a consortium

by Kali Persall

Cube Infrastructure Managers has sold Cube Hydro Power, the last asset of its Cube I fund, to a consortium backed by White Summit Capital, IST3 Investment Foundation and Reichmuth & Co.

CHP includes two main businesses: a majority stake in Madrid-headquartered independent power producer Renewable Power International Partners (RPIP), and a 7.2-megawatt wind farm owned by Cube Energy Spain.

Concurrently, the minority shareholders of RPIP are also selling their stake to the consortium.

“We are proud to have accompanied the development of CHP over the last 10 years and turned it into a sizable renewable platform in Iberia,” said Saket Trivedi, managing director at Cube Infrastructure Managers. “Renewables are playing an increasingly important role in the energy transition and the decarbonization of our economies as well as being a sector that we are continuously screening to seize attractive opportunities.”
