CS Energy, CVE North America break ground on N.Y. community solar projects

CS Energy and CVE North America have broken ground on a 22-megawatt portfolio of four community solar projects in western New York State.

New York state is known as the number one community solar market in the country. CVE North America developed the projects, which will bring the total amount of solar-energy projects completed between the two companies to more than 50 megawatts. All four projects will provide discounted electricity bills for more than 4,000 low- to middle-income residents and will help avoid the greenhouse gas emissions equivalent of 192,330 miles driven by gasoline-powered cars per year.
