Construction Partners acquires S.C. construction company

Construction Partners, a vertically integrated civil infrastructure company specializing in the construction and maintenance of roadways across six southeastern states, has acquired Pickens Construction, based in South Carolina. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes one hot-mix asphalt plant with related construction operations and 20 employees, which will be integrated as a bolt-on to CPI's South Carolina platform company, King Asphalt. The transaction expands its service market in the greater Greenville, S.C., metro area.

Supported by its hot-mix asphalt plants, aggregate facilities and liquid asphalt terminal, Construction Partners focuses on the construction, repair and maintenance of surface infrastructure.
