Commerz Real has acquired two ready-to-build solar parks in Sweden, Wing Fields and Gas Light, for its Klimavest fund. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The larger project, Wing Fields, has a planned nominal output of 49.4 megawatts peak and is located in the province of Södermanland, south of Stockholm. The second project, Gas Light, is located near Gothenburg and has a planned nominal output of 39.2 megawatts peak.
The solar projects are the first two from a five-part development portfolio Commerz Real secured the rights to purchase at the end of 2022, with a total nominal output of 270 megawatts peak. The planned nominal output of the two plants located in southern Sweden is around 90 megawatts peak.
Swedish company Helios Nordic Energy is the developer and seller of the two projects. This transaction continues the relationship between Commerz Real and Helios. The 22-megawatts-peak Kings Roar solar power plant in Sweden, which was commissioned last year, w
