The Chicago Policemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund posted a return of 11.8 percent in 2023, ending the year with a market value of $2.97 billion of assets under management.
Over the past three, five and 10 years, the CPABF has generated annualized net yields of 4.3 percent, 8.3 percent and 6.4 percent, respectively.
As of Dec. 31, 2023, the CPABF had 6.5 percent of its portfolio allocated toward real estate investments, slightly below its 7 percent target allocation. At the same time, it had 3.8 percent of its portfolio allocated toward infrastructure investments, just below its 4 percent target allocation for the asset class.
