Capital Dynamics buys remaining stake in Arizona solar project from Apollo

Capital Dynamics’ Clean Energy Infrastructure (CEI) business has acquired the remaining 69.98 percent interest in Arlington Valley Solar Energy II (AVSE II), a 175-megawatt solar photovoltaic project in Maricopa County, Ariz.

Funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management sold the stake to Capital Dynamics for an undisclosed amount.

The deal follows Capital Dynamics’ previous acquisition of a 30 percent stake in AVSE II from LS Power, which was announced in November. Following this latest acquisition from Apollo funds, Capital Dynamics will own 100 percent of the solar project.
