BlackRock Alternative Investors has completed the latest round of funding for its BlackRock Private Infrastructure Opportunities European Long-Term Investments Fund (PI ELTIF), securing more than €415 million ($437 million) of capital commitments.
“We have seen high demand from wealth clients in Germany for our infrastructure ELTIF,” said Benjamin Fischer, head of banks and strategic clients in the iShares and wealth team at BlackRock in Germany. “We are also seeing increasing interest in this form of investment from banks and other sales partners. Since the infrastructure asset class was previously reserved for institutional clients, we are pleased to be able to offer private investors access to infrastructure investments as well. We plan to continue this success story with further ELTIF solutions in the future in order to offer more and more private investors access to investments in private markets."
PI ELTIF is a sub-fund of BlackRock Alternative Funds, an
