United Utility Services has acquired BHI Power Delivery (BHI), a specialty utility transmission and distribution services provider, from Westinghouse Electric Company.
BHI Power Delivery provides comprehensive and innovative offerings supporting power infrastructure investment across all transmission, substation, distribution and grid-hardening projects. The acquisition creates one of the largest independent, pure-play power transmission and distribution services providers in the United States.
United Utility Services, which was formed by Bernhard Capital Partners in 2018, said the deal expands its geographic footprint and strengthens its presence in key markets. BHI represents United Utility’s fifth strategic acquisition. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
