Asterion Industrial Partners has appointed Silke Scheiber as head of the portfolio management committee.
Scheiber brings 24 years of investment and asset management experience to the role, with seven years of overlapping experience with Asterion’s founding partners.
Scheiber formerly served as a member of KKR’s European private equity team in London, where she spent 16 years. During her tenure, she was the first female partner appointment in Europe and the second globally. At KKR, she also served as the head of the European industrials team.
Scheiber started her career with Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt.
Scheiber holds an MBA from University of St. Gallen and a Master of Community of European Business Schools (CEMS) from École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris.
