Paul Kerr has joined Astarte Capital Partners, a firm focused on real assets, as managing director, based in Toronto.
Kerr brings 17 years of experience in the financial industry to the role, spanning alternative investments, asset management, pensions and insurance.
Kerr joins Asarte from Brookfield Annuity, where he led all investment activities including the monitoring, design and implementation of investment strategies, with a focus on real assets. Prior to joining Brookfield Annuity, Kerr worked for ING Investment Management and ING Insurance, where he played a major role building and managing the private equity, infrastructure and alternative investment strategies. Kerr also was a senior executive with Integrated Asset Management, now Fiera Capital, in Canada.
