Ardian widens scope of AirCarbon platform to more aviation stakeholders

Ardian is launching an open version of its Ardian AirCarbon platform, its proprietary emission quantification and reduction tool for the aviation industry, to help airports reach their net-zero targets.

Ardian AirCarbon is a software platform that uses granular, real-time operations data to quantify and project emissions, enabling airport operators to quickly and effectively monitor and reduce their carbon dioxide emissions. It is the first platform showing average daily carbon emissions per country and aircraft efficiency indicators for most commercial airports worldwide.

Ardian AirCarbon has been developed since 2019 in close collaboration with the firm’s portfolio airport teams to support the scope 3 emissions dynamic assessment at airports where the infrastructure team is an investor.
