The Colorado Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) has hired Andrew Roth as its executive director, per its board of trustees meeting on March 15.
Roth was previously serving as the deputy director at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, a position he’d held since April 2019. The appointment concludes Colorado PERA’s extensive eight-month nationwide search, conducted by the board of trustees and Hudepohl & Associates.
Before working at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, Roth worked for the California State Teachers’ Retirement System for seven years.
Roth earned his bachelor’s degree in history and his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington.
