Actis, a global investor in sustainable infrastructure, has promoted both Neda Vakilian, head of the firm’s investor solutions group, and Davi Carvalho Mota, director in Actis’ Long Life Infrastructure strategy, to partner.
Vakilian, based in London, joined Actis in January 2022 and is responsible for leading the firm’s capital-raising initiatives and strategic-investor programs. Vakilian plays a key role in building and managing relationships with investors and delivering the growth ambitions of the firm. She was also instrumental in forming Actis’ partnership with General Atlantic, which was signed in January.
During her near 20-year career, Vakilian has worked across private capital markets, business development and fundraising. Before joining Actis, she was co-head of capital solutions and investor relations for Amber Infrastructure.
