KKR has hired former QIC principal Andrew Jennings to work as a director at the firm. He will be based in the firm’s Sydney office.
Jennings is an experienced corporate finance professional in both advisory and principal investment, focused on infrastructure, according to his LinkedIn page.
He previously served as both manager and principal at the Australian firm, focusing on the global infrastructure and energy & utilities sectors. QIC has A$12.3 billion ($8.4 billion) in assets under management across 14 global infrastructure assets, according to the firm’s website.
Jennings also previously worked as an alternate director at Epic Energy South Australia, which owns and operates two major gas transmission pipelines in South Australia and held the same role at Powering Australian Renewables Fund (PARF), which invests in large-scale renewable energy. Prior to that, he held several positions at the Deutsche Bank.
