Cologix, a network-neutral interconnection and hyperscale edge data center company in North America, has secured $1.5 billion in capital through a combination of debt and equity financing to fuel its next phase of strategic growth.
Cologix said it will support the expansion of AI-ready data centers across North America to meet the increasing demand for digital infrastructure. The company plans to use the capital to support the ongoing buildout of large-scale campuses in its core markets, including Ashburn, Va.; Columbus, Ohio; and Montréal, as well as begin new builds on recently acquired land in Columbus; Des Moines, Iowa; and Vancouver, British Columbia. Upon full buildout, the campuses can support more than 650 critical megawatts of sellable capacity.
