Sustainable Development Capital (SDCL), a London-based multinational investment and financial advisory firm that specializes in environmental infrastructure, has appointed Ben Story as group COO.
Story joins SDCL from Rolls-Royce, where he was a member of the executive team responsible for strategy, M&A, corporate affairs, customer services and digitalization. At Rolls-Royce, he championed the repositioning of the company as a global power group leading the transition to net zero. During his time at Rolls-Royce, the group established new businesses in distributed energy, electric urban air mobility, small modular reactors and artificial intelligence.
Prior to that, Story spent more than 25 years in the banking industry, most recently serving as head of U.K. investment banking at Citigroup Inc. He has extensive experience with global infrastructure investment and funding.
