The city within a city project in Toronto

Derek Goring, CEO of Northcrest Developments, is working on the development project of a lifetime, a $22 billion 300-plus acre mixed-use project in Toronto that will house 55,000 residents when completed. Being built on the site of a decommissioned airport, the so-called YZD project will preserve and make use of the airport’s runway and its airplane hangars. (07/2025)
