UPS data center market to reach $5b value by 2026

The uninterruptible power supply, or UPS, data center market is on pace to surpass $5 billion in value by 2026, driven by an increase in new data centers globally, according to a market report by Global Market Insights.

As more data centers are built, operators are being challenged to implement better power management devices and technology, such as battery monitoring and uninterruptible power supply systems to manage power outages and ensure the smooth functioning of equipment. Due to its widespread application in a variety of industries, the UPS market size is expected to increase further in the coming years.

According to the report, key players operating in the data center UPS market are Eaton Corp., Mitsubishi Electric, Schneider Electric, Siemens AG, Delta Electronics and ABB Ltd.
