Dr. Robert Edelstein serves as co-chair of the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics in the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and previously was a professor of finance at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Both universities are in the United States. He is active in the fields of real estate economics, finance, and property taxation; energy and environmental economics; public finance; and urban financial problems. Dr. Edelstein has testified before the United States Congress on many real estate finance issues. He also has been president and has served on the board of directors of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association.
