The rumours of my retirement: Have been grossly exaggerated

People keep asking me when I plan to retire. And some people evidently have been telling other people in our industry that I’m already all but retired, which was what prompted my move to Florida.

What prompted my move to Florida was my disappointment over the direction in which the state of California was heading and the desire of my wife to return to a state in which she had lived when she was younger, to which she had been longing to return for many, many years (you all know the saying “Happy wife, happy life.”)

The truth is, I absolutely don’t have any plans to retire anytime soon. I plan to continue to work in this business until my body and mind make it impossible for me to do so any longer. I also have no plans to sell the business anytime soon, despite the rumours some people have been spreading.

The reason is, I not only enjoy my work immensely, but I also consider it a distinct honour and privilege to be able to continue to be of service to the
