How does the lyric go? The future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades. Well, the future of technology and digital infrastructure is going to be bright because the only way to go from the current state is up.

According to the Infrastructure Strategy 2022: A Pivot to the Digital Frontier survey report by BCG, massive infrastructure funding approved by the United States, China and the E.U., as well as ongoing improvements in low- and middle-income countries, are placing a renewed emphasis on infrastructure investments. Fundraising for public and private infrastructure investments, which include everything from power generation and renewable-energy facilities to schools, hospitals, digital networks, water resources and transportation projects, is hitting fresh highs. In 2022, global assets under management of private infrastructure investors were forecast to reach a record $950 billion.
