London: just no end to it all

All eyes turn toward London. A lot. Property investors just cannot get enough of the United Kingdom’s dominant market.

“London had a phenomenal year [last year], with the total value of investment reaching pre–global financial crisis levels,” comments Simon Barrowcliff, executive director, Central London Capital Markets, CBRE.

And many of the buyers are foreign investors. According to DTZ, 65 percent of the transaction volume in 2013 came from foreign investors.
