These results were previewed by the sponsoring firms of Institutional Real Estate, Inc at our Sponsor Briefing in February, and a summary of the findings from the annual investor survey was included on page 15 of the May issue of this publication.

This is the 22nd edition of this report, which we have been producing continuously since it was introduced at our very first sponsor briefing in 1996.

What is a “sponsor”, you might ask? Well, since inception, our publications have been made available at no cost on a controlled-circulation basis to qualified institutional real estate investors, which has grown to mean not only pension funds, endowments and foundations, but also insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and large, professionally-managed family offices. Since 1990, the costs for this se
