Activity continued in the European unlisted property fund sector.
Corpus Sireo’s Corpus Sireo Health Care II fund held a final close of €150 million. The fund raised capital from six German institutional investors. With gearing of 50 percent, the fund will have an investment volume of €300 million to invest in German care homes with an emphasis on new-build projects in western Germany. The fund has invested €35 million so far to acquire eight care homes.
“Our fund strategy is to achieve a long-term and sustainable investment in conjunction with stable dividend distributions. This is the reason why we are operating in the care home market segment,” says Marc-Philipp Martins Kuenzel, fund manager of CS Health Care II, in a statement.
