Face value: Why Blackstone will never make the cover of this publication

by Geoffrey Dohrmann

It’s true. Blackstone and its senior executives will never make the cover of The Institutional Real Estate Letter. Neither will any of the other top 10 largest investment managers, or any other manager, for that matter.

The reason for this is very simple. The Institutional Real Estate Letter isn’t about investment managers. It’s about their clients.

One of the things that sets The Institutional Real Estate Letter apart from virtually every other real estate investment–related publication is that it is edited for institutional investors. This includes pension fund executives and board members, and executives and board members at endowments, foundations, life insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and other investment institutions. Our focus is on the people, issues, ideas and events that are driving institutional investment trends, patterns and strategies.
