DTZ launches Latin American operations

DTZ, the Australia-based global property services firm, is expressing itself with a new accent these days with the opening of a Latin America regional headquarters in Mexico City.

Tod Lickerman, global CEO of DTZ, says the move was dictated by strong growth in Latin America and growing cross-border economic activity. DTZ’s global clients are very active in Latin America, Lickerman says, and that warranted an expansion of DTZ services in the region to assist with project, property and facility management, leasing, real estate consulting, and appraisals — particularly in the office, industrial and retail sectors.

Guillermo Sepulveda has been appointed president of DTZ for Latin America and Mexico. Additionally, Emile Sarraf has been appointed COO, and the two will oversee DTZ’s business operations in the region.
