Circular infrastructure: The key to decarbonization

The G20 Infrastructure Working Group has identified circular infrastructure as a key topic of their sustainable infrastructure agenda. Two key drivers for the G20 in relation to circular infrastructure include mitigating climate change and mitigating risk from resource scarcity. In terms of mitigating climate change, infrastructure is responsible for around 53 percent of the world’s greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions.
