Zeem Solutions to deliver EV charging infrastructure for Hertz at Los Angeles International Airport

by Kali Persall

Zeem Solutions, an electric vehicle transportation-as-a-service company, has partnered with Hertz to provide fast charging and related services for the rental company’s fleet of EVs at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Hertz is planning to expand its EV fleet at LAX and other locations across the United States as it builds the largest rental fleet of electric vehicles in North America.

Zeem’s Los Angeles charging depot, which is located within a mile of LAX, provides on-site charging, parking, security, scheduled maintenance and cleaning for EV fleets, including cars, vans, buses and trucks, at a lower cost than owning and operating a gas or diesel fleet. Following completion of an infrastructure buildout this year, Zeem’s LAX depot will be one of the largest commercial EV charging hubs in the United States, with 82 DC fast-charging ports and 10 megawatts of grid interconnection.
