Yousef Salama joins Chicago planning agency as a deputy executive director

Yousef Salama, an experienced public-private partnerships (P3) executive, has joined the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) as a deputy executive director, research, analysis and programming.

CMAP is a planning organization for the seven counties and 284 communities of northeastern Illinois. The agency and its partners are implementing a new comprehensive regional plan to help these counties and communities implement strategies that address transportation, housing, economic development, open space, the environment and other quality-of-life issues.

Salama previously served as the associate director of planning and P3, advisory business at Turner & Townsend. Prior to that, he was a senior manager, P3s, at Los Angeles Metro, according to his LinkedIn profile.
