Wymer Brownlee expands financial planning and tax planning teams

Wymer Brownlee, a leading independent wealth management firm, announced the expansion of its financial planning and tax planning teams with the hiring of Shawn Bean as tax adviser, Deanna Conway as tax coordinator and Trey Whitley as financial strategist.

Wymer Brownlee serves high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners, providing them with wealth management, financial strategies, tax planning and preparation, business accounting, and business consulting services.

As a tax adviser, Bean will determine each client’s tax liability and collaborate with in-house wealth advisers to maximize tax benefits in conjunction with their long-term financial plans. He will collect and analyze clients’ financial information to prepare timely and accurate federal, state, local and special tax returns. Bean received his undergraduate degree and Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma.

Conway will support Wymer Brownlee’s advisers as a tax coordinator, serving as the client liaison, maintaining updated client databases and processing tax returns and other financial statements. Conway obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and previously worked for Conoco, Inc. as a senior title analyst.

As a financial strategist, Whitley prepares analyses for wealth management issues ranging from estate planning and insurance to debt management, tax planning and other financial strategies. He supports Wymer Brownlee financial advisers in developing relationships and helping clients understand the complete picture of their financial landscape. Whitley earned his undergraduate degree in physical education and athletic training from Oklahoma State University and holds an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma and M.S. in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University.
