Whitehelm Capital and Daimyo announce renewable merger in Nordics

Whitehelm Capital and Daimyo have announced the merger of Norwegian renewable heat generation plant Sarpsborg Avfallsenergi and Kvitebjorn Bio-El (BIOEL), a fuel-flexible waste-to-energy plant located at Ora, Fredrikstad, in Norway, to create SAREN Energy.

SAREN Energy is a platform focused on the operation of renewable and sustainable energy solutions for commercial and industrial companies in the Nordics. The platform will deliver more than 300 gigawatt hours of steam and heat to a district heating network and local industries.
