First Infrastructure Capital–backed WhiteWater Midstream has begun the binding open season to solicit commitments for the remaining capacity on the Whistler Pipeline. The Whistler Pipeline will transport approximately 2 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas through approximately 450 miles of 42-inch pipeline from Waha, Texas, to the Agua Dulce area in South Texas.
The open season will close Dec. 16.
In February 2019, First Infrastructure Capital Advisors acquired WhiteWater Midstream. WhiteWater Midstream is also backed by a joint venture between Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and West Texas Gas.
In June 2019, WhiteWater Midstream reached a final investment decision to move forward with the design and construction of the Whistler Pipeline after having secured sufficient firm transportation agreements with shippers.
